I've been on a bit of a classical music kick lately and am
thrilled that I had the opportunity to feature the San Francisco
Chamber Orchestra on my show. They perform a series of free
concerts to promote appreciation of classical music, and I've
loved the performances I've caught of theirs so far.

The performance I recorded earlier this year featured the
striking premiere of local composer Richard Aldag's "Elegy for
Cello and Orchestra". The episode also features a classic from
J.S. Bach, one movement of which can be seen here:

Tune in on Sunday, June 4, 9:30pm-10pm on San Francisco Cable
Channel 29 for the rest. More info:

In fact, there is another free show by the San Francisco Chamber
Orchestra on Friday, June 2, 8pm that features music by leading
Latin American composers. Details are at the link below. Hope
to see you there!
