[fingeronthepulse] Audio Out Send and Fiji Mermaid episode airs Sunday, Aug 21, 9:30pm

I am sad to report that this may be the last of the Mission Creek
Music Festival footage for a while, so be sure to tune in to see
another two-part episode featuring performances by Audio Out Send
and Fiji Mermaid.

I'm excited for Audio Out Send--they are about to release their new
EP "A Broad Connection", which should be pretty great given the
songs I've heard off it.  You can preview a couple of songs from
their new EP during the Finger On The Pulse episode that airs on
Sunday, but be sure to head out to the Cafe Du Nord on Thursday,
September 1st to see the songs performed live.  The du Nord show is
their record release party, and will be a fantastic night of music
featuring Audio Out Send, Tomihira, Vernal Falls, and Liam Carey.

Earlier this year, Fiji Mermaid released her first full-length album
titled "Green Pond", which has gotten some recent airplay on KCRW.
She's planning some more local gigs in the future, but until those
get scheduled, you catch a sampling of her poignant music on
Sunday's episode.  The episode features both some of her new
material, as well as some older favorites off her earlier EP.

Both of these shows were filmed at the Make-Out Room in June 2005.
The episode airs Sunday, August 21, 9:30pm-10pm on San Francisco
